The year 2020 was quite terrible for many of us. There’s just no way around it. But let’s take a one more look at 2020, let’s see how the year looked for Pint Please. Here’s some trivia before the TOP lists.

- Likes to other users posts in 2020: 1 080 000 with about 35 100 comments. Our thirstiest “Pinter” rated 1 335 beers last year.

TOP 20 best breweries summary
In 2020 there were much more American craft beers available in Europe (where most of our users are), which partially explains why the list is being dominated by breweries from the USA. Perhaps a bit shockingly, only one brewery was in the TOP 20 also in 2019. That was DEYA, which, by the way, is once again our best brewery in the United Kingdom.

TOP 20 beers summary
Like in 2019, the TOP list is covered with stronger beer styles, especially by different Stouts with few Belgian style beers in the mix as well but with only two IPA-style beers. In 2019, there was four IPA-family beers. Five of the beers reached TOP 20 also in 2019. These were Westvleteren 12, Pime ÖÖ PX (Cellar Series), Westvleteren Extra 8, Paix Dieu and Noa Pecan Mud Cake (Note! Noa Pecan Mud Cake also goes by the name Aon Pecan Mud Cake).
Westvleteren 12 also hold the #1 spot back then. Also, Founders CBS was in the 2nd place but with 2018 version. 15 out of 20 beers in 2020 are from European brewers with the remaining five being from the USA. Trillium Brewing, Omnipollo, and Brasserie La Débauche all have three beers on the list.
