2019 is now finished. It has ended, like the last pint you’ve drunk in the bar before leaving home: hopefully with good memories.
The year 2019 was a good year for Pint Please.
Pint Please has millions of reviews from 162 countries, and the biggest ones are France, Finland, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Belgium. There are currently more than 184000 different beers in Pint Please with the number steadily growing and over 57000 venues. But without further ado, here are the TOP 20 best beers and breweries from 2019. Each beer and brewery have to need to receive at least 30 reviews to be on this list.

Imperial Stouts, especially the once with barrel ageing or the so-called Pastry Stouts are the most dominant beer style, receiving much higher point than average beers. These “new generation”, if you may, beers are counterbalanced by the more traditional Abbey-style beers of Abt/Quadrupel, Tripel and Dubbel. There are relatively few IPAs on the list, considering how much people enjoy the beers from IPA-family. NEIPA/Hazy trend is showing clearly as every beer is, in fact, some sort of NEIPA/Hazy IPA (though, listed here as “Imperial IPA/Double IPA).
Surprisingly, there are no Sour beers on the TOP 20 list despite the style being in favour by many.

Top breweries are dominated by breweries in the UK, especially those based in England. None of the breweries which made the top 20 beers made it to the list, interestingly. Also noteworthy is that most of the top breweries are established during the 2000s (many in the 2010s) with some older and more traditional breweries such as Cantillon (est. in 1900) and Brauerei Gutmann (Est. in 1707).
