How to Get Started with Pint Please

If you’re a new or becoming a Pint Please user, here you’ll find some general instructions to use the application.

Pint Please is an app made for beer lovers. It helps you find good pints of beer and to remember what beers you’ve tasted when you leave a review in your profile.

To use Pint Please you’ll need to download the app to your mobile phone and create a profile by registering a account. That’s all.

Pint Please app is available for the iPhone in the App Store, and the android app you’ll find on Google Play.

How to Review a Beer

Basically Pint Please app is about giving numeral ratings and/or verbal reviews to the beers you’ve had. 

You can rate a beer by finding it with a search function or by scanning the barcode. If the beer is not already in the database, see the next topic below: ‘How to Add a Beer’. It will take just a second!

Give the beer a rating from zero to five stars. You can also add a verbal review or a comment, your own photograph of the beer, and the place where you’ve purchased or enjoyed it. 

You’ll be able to explore your own reviews in your profile, but also see what other people near around you are drinking, or what your friends are drinking by following them.

By giving beer ratings, you’ll do a favour to all Pint Please users, who may then pick the best beers by comparing the AVGs (average ratings). 

Beer ratings also give advice to breweries who can find by the AVGs their best-rated, and also the lowest-rated beers. 

Besides Pint Please provides statistics of the most popular and the best-rated beers in different categories and time periods. You’ll find all the stats published so far from the Pint Please blog!

How to Add a Beer

If the beer is not in the database already, you can easily add it. You just need to know its name, brewery’s name, style and ABV (alcohol by volume). If you’re able, please attach a photo of the beer.

If the brewery is also missing, you can add it the same way. Then you’ll just need to know the brewery’s name and which country it’s from.

It’s also possible to add new places if you can’t find the pub or the grocery store where you’ve purchased your beer. The information you’ll need to add is the name of the place and its category, if it’s a pub, webstore, or supermarket, and so on.

By adding new beers, breweries, and places to Pint Please, you’ll also do a favour to all Pint Please users. The content of the application is pretty much produced by its users.

How to Use Taste Experience

Taste Experience is a new feature that provides beer offers. They’ll help you discover new beers and save money at the same time.

The Taste Experience feature will be launched in the Brew//LDN beer festival in May 2022. First it will be available only in the UK. We’ll keep you on track, when the feature is available in other countries as well.
