La palette de dégustation 3/5. Semiclear, deep copper beer with a decent, standard white, velvety head that descends to a thin lace ring which lingers for somewhat longer. The nose gets only very restrained caramel malt and medium-sweet biscuit. The tongue is delighted for the slightly bitter malt with a faint caramelly twist, seasoned by a bit of maltose and followed by medium-sweet bread. The light-bodied beer ends with slightly bitter malt, a whisper of caramel and grainy bread. The aftertaste has a medium duration. The mouthfeel is slightly crisp, unfortunately also a bit bulky, yet reasonably strong. Overall, this is a decent, quaffable brew.
