Old Speckled Hen has a full, smooth flavour and is very easy to drink. Its rich amber colour and superb fruity aromas are complemented by a delicious blend of malty tastes. Toffee and malt combine with bitterness on the back of the tongue to give a balanced sweetness, followed by a refreshingly dry finish. Bottle 5.0% Cask 4.5%

Ensin, että okei hyvä perinteinen pale ale. Hyvä tasapainoinen maku, hieman bitterinen. Mutta lopuksi suuhun tulee pieni ”teollinen” metallin maku, siitä pisteitä pois.

4,8% versio.Kaapin perältä kaivettu, parasta ennen viime heinäkuussa. Liekö sillä osuutta asiaan että sai todella varovaisesti kaataa tuoppiin ja silti vaahtosi todella runsaasti🙄?! Ei tämä kyllä ole meikäläisen makuun, karvas. Ehkä olisi tuoreena ollut parempi🤷? En ala väkisin juomaan,viemäriin…….

English pale ale, mutta maistuu tosi paljon bitteriltä. Itse asiassa oikein hyvä olut. Kivasti toffeinen.

This is from my favourite brewery of year ago .. Morland you hit the nail on the head with this one for me .. nice malty aroma with that slight twist of caramel notes as well the only difference is the abv dropping from 5,2 to 5 to 4.8 the reasons are understandable
