Dark and full bodied, packed full of hops giving interest and complexity. Challenger and Target providing underlying herbal hop and the rare Bramling cross adding redcurrant and blackcurrant into the mix. Horlicks malty character from the pale malt and toffee from the crystal malt give warmth and the blend of hops provides a crisp bitterness.
Hops: Bramling Cross, Challenger, First Gold, Golding, Target
Malts: Crystal Medium, Pale

A dark and delicious festive beer, with blackcurrant flavours along with a malted toffee taste and a crisp bitter finish.

Bought this for the novelty value, but NGL it absolutely slapped. Well done.

It's a cracker of a drink, with a nice malty aroma. It has a creamy mouthfeel with a nice malty backbone, a subtle fruit taste with a slight spicy note, and a slight sweet note that gives way to a nice bitter finish. It's smooth and easy to drink for a session. Not overpowering in the Xmas spice, just a subtle tinge.

First visit in a while and a good selection of guest ales on today. This is a smooth, slightly malty bitter.
