Murky, dirty brown beer, resembling sludge, with initially pushy carbonation builds a strong, effervescent, light fawn head that rises two fingers tall. The foamy pillow shrinks soon to a more decent level, still decorating the surface throughout the entire drink. The nose senses a tad piney grapefruit and lemon peel with a faint caramelly twist. The fragrance is, generally speaking, surprisingly mild. The taste receptors suffer due to the hefty, sharp coniferous aroma in which huge bags of strong piney, dry hops, a little bit of lemon peel and a distant grapefruity note alternate. A tad extraordinarily bitter caramel seasons the palate. Interestingly, alcohol can't be tasted per se but indirectly as a result of sharp bitterness. The taste is not really husky, mouth-drying but not slick, oily either. Fruitiness one can't capture anywhere. The body is medium to medium-full. The beer ends with extremely dry-hoppy and piney aftertaste, accompanied by spruce needles and quite much resin. A weak note of grapefruit peel and some grass linger also in the shadows. The mouthfeel is extremely crisp, significantly coniferous, very tangy and pungent as well as relatively dry. It's also medium-husky, rough and substantially demanding.
