Englandtypisch wenig Schaum. Rauchig-malziger Antrunk, schon bitter, aromatisch, kräftig, auch etwas süß, rezent aber nicht sehr frisch. Sehr verheißungsvoll. Im Haupttrunk bleibt der Eindruck eines sehr kräftigen und aromatischen Bieres, das man ohne Reue genießen kann.

Not the usual type of beer I would go for but quite nice. Undertones of treacle, oak, and leather, perfect for autumn.
