Foggy, yellow beer is released from tap. Vivid, sustained carbonation unleashes a clean white, fluffy froth that rises up to one finger and dissolves gradually to a neat lacing and respectable lace ring.
The fragrance displays loads of grapefruit pulp, a good amount of grapefruit peel, identifiable lemon zest and a subtle note of fresh cut grass.
The palate is really summery with bags of grapefruit peel and grapefruit pulp as well as a grassy nuance. DDH is surprisingly mild though, of course, recognizeable. A piney note follows behind.
The body is light to light-medium. The aftertaste puts forward a somewhat dry-hopped gustatory offer, further flavored by lemon peel, grapefruit peel and grapefruit juice. The aftertaste has a long duration.
The mouthfeel is somewhat crisp, a bit dry as well as mouth-drying. It's also relatively subtropical, summery and faintly coniferous.
Very quaffable for a 4 % Session IPA.
