I really wanted to like this one but it just didn't quite live up to my expectations. There was deffinetly some brett funk happening in the beer but for a 12 month old Brett Saison it was rather reserved. The beer was a lovely golden color and poured with a finger of white head. I also found it difficult to pick out the flavors I typically get out of Belgian saison yeast. The oak casks the beer was aged in were also most likely fairly neutral as the oak characteristic was very reserved (although I found this worked well). Overall an okay beer, but just a little bit difficult to justify its price tag.
