Dirty, rusty beer with powerful, long-enduring carbonation releases a ridiculously excessive, soapy, off-white head that rises to an unforeseen level depending on how steeply the beer is poured. The frothy tower falls gradually downwards, first on the sides and last at the center like a pillar. The drying foam marks the glass with multiple small splashes. The nose gets strong grapefruit, a good amount of lemon peel and some bitter orange peel, seasoned with a bitter yeasty tang. The tongue takes a few steps back because of the substantially strong, pungent aroma. The grapefruit is massively bitter and edgy, giving an impression of a high-alcohol beer; nevertheless, this beer is only at moderate 5 %. In addition to the grapefruit, lemon peel and fruity dry hops are quite penetrative. Otherwise, the nuances are rather few and the overall impression quite one-dimensional. The body is light-medium. The beer comes to an end with substantially tangy, strongly bitter citrus, hefty dry hops, a bit of resin and a piney note. The aftertaste keeps the tastebuds alarmed for a considerably long time. The mouthfeel is frothy and effervescent, rather strong, significantly tangy and sharp, as well as challenging. It's also relatively dry, well-attenuated, somewhat coniferous and also mouth-drying.
