West coast IPA, and quite a strong one at 6.8%, which you can sense and partly taste. It's typically herby in the form of pine, and has that west coast marmalade accompanying taste, bitter fruity marmalade, almost bright. I'd prefer a New England, but I'm currently in Las Vegas so west coast it is. Taking a break from my alcohol free life, I had a beer at dinner last night that was again a west but decidedly craft and less bright than this Coronado brew. This isnt special. But it's nice enough, and hefty.
