Very jees DIPA, ei liian katkera

New England West Coast IPA with a white foam head and an “Intercoastal haze”. Rather leaning towards West Coast than NEIPA in my opinion. Citrus fruits, mango, pine and resin in a mellow and balanced mix. Lightly sweet. Hoppy enough but not overwhelming. Some warmth from the alcohol. Smooth and soft yet potent.

Trooppinen ja makeahko tuoksu. Maussa sitrusta, greippiä, havua, mangoa ja appelsiiniä. Oikeastaan vasta jälkimaun lämpö paljastaa että enemmän prosentteja. Oikein miellyttävä ja helppo tapaus. Jotenkin kiva suutuntumakin. Ei liikaa hiilihappoja. Mielestäni enemmän neipaa kuin west coastia. Havuisuus ja pihkaisuus esillä aika maltillisesti. Raikasta trooppisuutta taas enemmän.

The 3rd and final beer from this month's Brewdog Fanzine box, issue 20. It pours a hazy orange colour with a white head. Aroma is of tropical fruits. Flavour is juicy with tropical fruits and a slightly citrus finish.

Beer 2 from the fanzine and whilst the first did not hit the expected spot, this one is a heavyweight offering. Would love to see this one become a regular offering as it tastes amazing but at 8.5% would need to be drank in moderation!
