Kings Parade / King's Parade
3.8% Bitter
Classic best bitter. Earthy, spicy, biscuity aroma and sweet malty, but fruity finish. Well-balanced, very drinkable ale.

Flight 3/4.
Semicloudy, light copper to copper beer is a lucky bastards: the slowly-bursting froth grows one finger tall and stays alive, albeit thinner, for a long time.
Now we are approaching more classical fragrances: caramel malt, graham cracker, even banana. Not sure if the latter piece actually belongs to this universe... In addition, I find a nutty note that I can't specify in greater detail.
The taste follows suit as it's thin. Fortunately, I spot some nice classical flavors like caramel, a whisper of toffee, nut, multigrain bread and graham cracker. However, the bitterness of the Bitter is modest at best. It disappoints me big time.
The mouthfeel is watery, slick, modestly crisp, a bit drying but not actually dry. Doesn't impress me.

It's nice enough, but I need to find some dark beer.

First time I have tried this ale, and it has exceeded my expectations. Tasty and fresh, a nice drop.
