A robust Pale Ale based on a 1890’s recipe, far darker and more malty than a modern Pale Ale, the main hops are true to the 1800’s with Fuggles and Goldings style hops for bittering and flavour, with a sprinkling of US Citra and Amarillo to give a slight touch of citrus aroma.

Stronger than some other IPA’s as well as being darker in colour.Quite malty and also being fairly hoppy. ABV Of 6.9% is not noticeable so, whilst being an enjoyable beverage, a degree of caution is advised. 😉
