Busy week, finally came to an end today with 2 weeks of leave and a holiday to look forward to. I’ve been rather busy/lazy so will make an effort to work back through the last week of beers I’ve reviewed but not uploaded.
Starting with this belter from Arbor Ales! How can the addition of vanilla to a NEIPA make it taste like rice pudding?! That’s what I’m getting! No bitterness, full on creaminess with vanilla and a hint of cloves. I do t know if it’s my senses deceiving me or what… fruity and mild citrus.
It’s a rice pudding NEIPA. Bizarre but works so well…
Happy Friday!! 👍

Could of been better for Arbor rather bland for this renowned brewery

It pours a cloudy, golden colour with a frothy, white head. Aroma is creamy with citrus notes. Flavour is citrussy and creamy. Thick mouthfeel.

Enjoyed that the can was a proper full pint!! The blend of hops was refreshing and the vanilla came through adding a hint of sweet.
