The glass fills with clear, deep amber beer from tap. Carbonation is modest. The foam is thin, off-white and velvety. It decorates the drink for a medium run. Nose is medium malty, bready and remotely syrupy. Tastes strong malty with biting alcohol slightly messing with tastebuds. Otherwise the palate has cookies, maize and tad of syrup. Finishes surprisingly short with strong sweet malty aftertaste. Mouthfeel is strong, medium-full, sharp and somewhat metallic and industrial, most likely due to the taste of ethanol.
