Decent drink but nothing overly special. Nice fruity aroma. Fruity taste with a nice malty backbone. Slight toffee caramel sweetness to finish but enjoyable. Smooth and easy drinking session ale

Not great. Tastes a bit like Bovril. No fight yet in Spoons, but someone has deposited their penne pasta bake on the crapper floor.

This was a Bath Ales beer before they were acquired by St Austell. It has a dark, slightly red hue & malty toffee base with a slightly spicy & dry end
