A copper coloured bitter with a smooth flavour and a clean, subtle toffee malt background, finely balanced by a pleasing, tangy, fresh hop finish.

I forgot that I'd already tried this one. It has the same profile as before, but it's way creamier than before. Still a good session ale, especially at the ABV. It's a smooth and easy-drinking session ale that's totally quaffable. It's way better than before, hence the higher score. No JDW curse.
