Finally getting to use my Bitburger glass. Need to enjoy this now as it's starting to turn cold outside. High, very orange thick head. Opaque haze, not seeing any particulates. Very deep yellow with shades of orange. Aroma has a sour citrus quality. Texture is thin and light. First taste brings forth the hops, salty bitter but not overstated. Citrus flavor predominantly lemon, has notes of tropical fruit in the distant background. The hops come back strong in the finish where the bitterness overrides the citrus but not as much as a strong IPA. I enjoyed this as a very drinkable and very refreshing brew. Would be a great outdoor summertime beer. Too bad winter time is on our doorstep.
