Sucre discret, légère en bouche mais 11.3% … ressemble à du vin d’orge ! On pourrait passer la nuit avec cette superbe.

Very sweet, lovely vanilla tone, with the brown ale aftertaste. Never had a brown ale at over 10% before but I’m guaranteed to have many more after this one

Saunan jälkeen maistunee yksi hyvä imperial brown ale, Wylam ei tule varmaan tuottamaan tässä pettymystä. Ilme on syvän punertavan ruskea. Sormen paksuinen vaahtokukka käväisee pinnalla. Tuoksu on hivenen hento, mutta oikein mieluisa. Pehmeää suklaisuutta, kahvia, pähkinää ja vaahterasiirappia. Suussa sulava, kohtuu runsas sekä hitusen tahmea. Melko täyteläinen runko, alkoholi pysyttelee aika hyvin piilossa.

Oh, this is gorgeous! Having tried both the “Brown Ale English” and “Brown Ale American” styles, and not been especially taken with either, this is in a different league altogether. Smooth, rich, warm, and just overall delicious!

Best before 1.1.2023 (maybe canned 1.1.2021?) Temperature: +12 C The color is mahogany, and it does look nice. Very good clarity. Small, fast head. I wouldn't mind looking at that foam a bit longer: 3,5/5 The nose is toasty and nutty with some maple but not that much really. There seems to some kind of soft vanilla and even some oaky aromas. Almost like a Bourbon barrel. Interesting🤔but I don't mind. Some fruity hues and even mild chocolate tones. This has some serious complexity going on here! 4,5/5 Mouthfeel is medium, with "rough edges". Alcohol pays a lovely visit with every sip. Bitterness is present, which does feel nice. Imperial Brown Ale. Yes, this feels like it: 4,75/5 Taste has some malty sweetness and plenty of nutty malty flavor. Mild toasty and even milder chocolate flavor. Some warming alcohol. I can't really find any maple but there's again that fascinating, almost Bourbon barrel flavor🤷‍♂️there's some sort of thick suryp-like flavor, perhaps that is from the maple suryp. The taste goes deep with plenty of malt character and it develops pretty awesome complexity which, at some level, changes with almost every sip: 14/15 Wau! I Mean this beer is a solid Imperial Brown Ale. Quite a difficult style, or at least that's what I think, but this is pretty much flawless! No doubt there's some aging potential, but awesome beer even now. I want a barrel-aged version from this! 18/20 =44,75/50

Wylamilta tullut maistettua pelkästään priimaa joten odotukset korkealla. Käsittääkseni suht tuoretta tuotetta hyllyssä. Lähes kolajuomainen ulkonäkö. Tosi ohut vaahto. Rungossa kivasti pähkinäisyyttä,mallasleipää ja vaahterasiirappia. Todella pehmeä suutuntuma, 11,3 pinnaa on kyllä piilotettu hienosti. Voisi melkein juoda toisen perään.
