Deep opacity and pale amber with visible carbonation this time, probably due to the glass having just had water poured out of it, I know, sacrilegious, my apologies.
Bright and beautiful sweet hops on the nose, not jumping out at you but there waiting for you to inhale deeply. Vic Secret is there and it's been a while since I've last had a brew with it playing a part in a brew. Joining it is Citra, Columbus and Simcoe, so a nice juicy NEIPA it should be. Lemon, satsuma, peach, pineapple are all there with maybe a floral hint of summut.
First sip.. stone fruit is much more pronounced, and grapefruit makes a showing here but lemon is still there. Thankfully it's not overly sharp so I won't label this a lemon IPA. The four hops aren't producing a massive beer in terms of bold and wide flavours but it is harmonious and well rounded. Citrus but not too sharp with stone fruit giving a soft backing. It is soft with notable carbonation in the mouth with light to medium body and a medium long finish. At this stage of tasting there isn't definition between fruit flavours but may well separate with time. If so I will do an edit.
