Vahvan suklainen. Pehmeä ja vahva makumaailma. Monipuolinen. Tynnyrikypsytys maistuu.

Now something BIG! Vintage 2022. Pours murky, deep dark brown, like black coffee. A long-lived, cappuccino-colored silky head lingers on the surface. A good load of sweet caramel, dark plum, a bit of date and unavoidable sweet-leaning rye whisky constitute the first gustatory encounter. Vanilla accompanies in the proximity, followed by faint espresso, dark chocolate and soaked oak barrel. Lovely complexity! The flavor cocktail contains, first and foremost, rye whisky barrel. It's dominant. Date, raisin and prune represent the dried fruit league. Soft vanilla is certainly there. Dark chocolate is distant, almost nonexistent. Caramel had turned bitter on the tongue. The body is medium to medium-full. Not exactly what I anticipated... The finish levels off the hefty whisky barrel nuance to some extent. Some of the previous elements continue to the end. The mouthfeel is rather strong, heavy, barrel aged, smooth and a little woody. Complexity is reasonable. This #summerbeer22 needs cellaring for sure.

Vuoden 2022 versio: Kevyen punertavan tummanruskea ja sameahkoa. Kepoinen, rusehtava ja pienikuplainen vaahto. Tuoksu runsaan ja makean rusinainen ja siirappinen, romminen/viskinen, kevyen vaniljainen ja ruisleipäinen. Maku maukkaan ja makean tumman maltainen, rusinainen ja siirappinen, vaniljainen, ruisleipäinen, viskinen, kevyen paahteinen ja katkera. Oikein hyvät ja tasapainoiset maut. Suutuntuma täyteläinen ja pehmeä. Maukasta ja tuhtia juotavaa. Ei ehkä aivan niin pehmeä kuin edellinen versio. Voisi hyötyä pienestä kypsyttelystä.
