Happy Friday. Starting my no IPA weekend. Unfortunately I haven’t been beer shopping so I only have a couple new ones (will be hitting up others already posted afterwards). I’ll get out tomorrow. Starting on the dark side. This has the usual suspects with dark roasted malts, light chocolate, licorice and coffee that is slightly burnt. It’s supposed to be an Irish dry stout. Tastes more like a regular stout to me. Overall as a stout it’s pretty good. The 12 oz bottle only cost me $2.59. Pretty much 1/2, if not less, than what an IPA pint would cost. Maybe I’m onto something here.
