Another one from À Tue-Tête! Let's keep fingers crossed that this is more inspiring. The beer colors relatively cloudy, amber. Shy carbonation creates a subdued white head that maintains longer as a modest ring on the surface. Later I can see some yeast particles sunk at the bottom. The scent gives immediately some stone fruits, such as peach, apricot and a bit of mango. The wheaty backbone is not particularly supportive but keeps the package together. The taste profile is nice: sour peach, nectarine and apricot form a uniform medley that plays well together. Further down the line, I pick tiny amendments of green grape, orange pulp, bitter orange peel and mango. Intriguing as this offers some varying dimensions. The body is light, or light plus. The finish drops a few fruits on the road but rolls over the key stone fruits to the end. The aftertaste plays ducks and drakes and smiles for this childhood activity. The mouthfeel is light, medium-tart, puckering, acidic, as a matter of fact more acidic than "Cerise 2020", and zesty. Even moderately funky. 🧡🧡 (The covid pass requirement picture is a memory of this strange time.)
