Tuoksussa erittäin lupaava sekoitus paahdetta, vaniljaista makeutta ja suklaata. Adjunctit siis löytyvät jo tässä vaiheessa. Maku on persoonallinen: reilusti vaniljaa ja jonkinlaista savuisuutta (?). Happoja hieman keskivertoa enemmän ja runko verrattain kuiva. Kokonaisuus on harkittu ja nautinnollinen, erittäin hyvä.

Nightcap. Opaque oily black. Carbonation is quite extrovert as a beautiful tan head emerges on the top. The medium retention promises that a neat lace ring kisses the rim of the glass much longer. The nose receives first roasted dark malt, a small amount of syrup and faint molasses. The second wave contains faint dark chocolate and marginally bolder vanilla. In addition, I can pick a note of alcohol on the sidelines. The adjuncts climb a bit higher in the hierarchy when tasted on the tongue. The vanilla is braver now. So is the dark chocolate. And alcohol. It leaves a slightly boozy sensation on the tongue. Roasted dark malt mingles with a pinch of syrup, molasses, brown sugar and a coffeeish hint. The body is full, not least because of the loads of adjuncts. The end tweaks the boozy parameter slightly more pronounced, which mesmerizes my mind to think that this is barrel aged. The desserty variables are still present, as well. The aftertaste puts on a bandana, the whole damn summer like Rambo, waka waka like Shakira. The mouthfeel is full, sticky, viscous, oily, creamy and thick. It's relatively intense and deep and coats the teeth with sugary stuff. The mouthfeel is, furthermore, somewhat alcoholic and modestly harsh. Still, overall desserty.

Erittäin pehmyen makuelämyksen tarjoileva stout. Vahva suositus!

Reilunsormenleveyden verran mokkakahvinväristä vaihtelevankuplaista vaahtoa syvän tummanruskean hiukkasen valoaläpipäästävän oluen yllä joka tuoksuu tummapaahteisen kahvisen suklaisen lämmittävältä ja maistuu kuivan paahteisen katkerahkon kahvisen suklaisen vaniljaisen maltaiselle, neljä bojoa.
