Forgot To Take My Pils
0.5% Pilsner
When it came to creating our core lager, we knew we wanted to do something different. That’s why Forgot to Take My Pils is just as refreshing and drinkable as a traditional lager, with the added craftiness of a Keller Pilsner. We pile in Pilsner Malt, Saaz and Perle hops, and finish it off with an Azacca double dry hop to complement that distinctive pilsner taste. The perfect choice for a hot summer day, you may even forget it’s alcohol free.
Houblon : Azacca, Perle, Saaz
Malts : Pils

Sormenleveydenverran vaaleaa vaahtoa utuisen oljenkeltaisen valoaläpipäästävän semiläpinäkyvän oluen yllä joka tuoksuu kepeän sitruksisen kukkaisen pajuisen lepposalta ja maistuu kuivan lempeän rapsahtavan greippisen pihkaisen pajuisen kepeältä, kolme ja puoli bojoo. PE: 1.8.2024.

Lucid amber beer with cheerful carbonation pumps up an airy off-white head up to two fingers and above. The foamy hat remains sustained for a while on the surface, then it flattens down to a gossamer haze. Dense wrappings are left on the glass. Cereal, biscuit, apricot and a bit of bubblegum whirl into a sweet-forward cocktail in the air. Not too inviting... Fortunately, the flavor side escapes from such sweetness: malt is slightly lemony, marginally metallic and moderately crackery. The hoppy segment is narrow and grassy. Overall, a manageable package. The body is light minus but not thin. The end leaves a metallic tang in the mouth while the other few gustatory components vanish quickly. The aftertaste drops things on its way to find the way back home but someone seems to collect them before the aftertaste returns, it keeps straying around and buys one thousand empty lottery tickets; hey hey mum, I haven't taken my meds. The mouthfeel is light, a bit dry and drying as well as slightly metallic. Not a masterpiece, not even in its own non-alc category, but well reasonable anyway.

Cloudy with a hint of peach, but felt quite thin even for a low alcohol beer.
