I enjoyed this more than I was expecting. The first stout I’ve had from these. I was expecting a big pastry number like the NeonRaptor beers of old but this was different. So smooth and with a big coffee hit. No roastiness, no bitterness, just huge dark berry aromas, and mellow tobacco. The cacao rounds things out nicely but it’s certainly coffee forward.
