Light At The End of The Tunnel
6.8% New England IPA / Hazy IPA
Light At The End of The Tunnel (IPA) uses Photon as its inspiration with some modifications and upgrades, including an all Survivable hop blend for the whirlpool and a large dose of Lupomax Citra in addition to a supersized Photon hop bill. Aromas and flavors of soft pineapple, navel orange, stone fruit, EQ’s rainbow melon, and lime juice radiate with a touch of pine resin at the finish, making it an easy drinker with tons of flavor.

Une très bonne IPA qui vient des Younaïtid ! Une odeur de fruit de la passion et une amertume assez soutenue en bouche. Very nice !

This one is tropical and citrusy that leans towards tangerine, pineapple, mango, nectarine, lime, lemon zest and cantaloupe. None are very strong but is kind of complex. It’s a bit juicy but has a touch of a dry finish. Bitterness is almost medium. Not much from a malt perspective. Overall another great beer from Equilibrium.

Two babies @ Pien now that there's the Equilibrium TTO. This colors hazy, deep yellow. Beautiful. The creamy head clings to the rim of the glass tightly. Veeeery soft scent. Tropical aromas are unmistakeable: pineapple, mango, tangerine, cantaloupe, faint lactose. Quite expected but can't deny that it starts saliva production in my mouth. The tastebuds receive flavors... yes, tropical and juicy but... somewhat restrained. (??) The flavors include cantaloupe, raw pineapple, tangerine, just like the fragrance suggests, but also some lemon peel and a pinch of grass. Lactose? Probably not but such a sensation is left on the tongue. The body is medium. The finish is a tad crisper than the scent proposes, basically the same elements but the grassiness grows. Marginal hop burn tries to break free but no real success. The mouthfeel is medium, relatively soft, somewhat tropical, juicy, slightly dry but also lip-glueing. Tasty but not la crème de la crème.

Toinen vasemmalta. Tämä oli aika vaisu esitys. Neipa, mikä muistutti enemmän kypsemmän makeaa ipaa, joka taittaa maltaiseen jälkimakuun. Tainnut olla hiukan vanhempi erä kyseessä ainakin UT arvioita verraten.
