Hoptimistic Beast IPA is the fruit of our beautiful collaboration with the world’s leading hop supplier Yakima Chief Hops and the main hop distributer in Northern Europe, Humlegårdens Ekolager. Brewed with the up-and-coming Yakima Chief Elite Trials hops HBC 586, HBC 630, HBC 638 on the aroma side. Magnum as a bittering hop. GLUTEN FREE

Saturday evening after churchconcert with christmas topic. Domestic craftbeer brewery Fat Lizard's ipa brewed with four hop varieties. IBU 66, so there should be hoppiness to warrant the name of the beer. Pours bright and clear golden yellow beer with durable white foam on top. Scent is resinous, grapefruit peel and touch of birch leaves. Taste is bitter as expected, piny resins, grapefruit peel and passion fruit. Notes of honey and birch, plus subtle sweetness. Good ipa after too long dominance of New England ipa type of beers in ipa shelves.

Parhaimpia gluteenittomia oluita, joita olen juonut, ehkä jopa parhain. Tasapainoinen, reilusti humaloitu. Jotenkin koivuinen ja havuinen, mutta ei kuitenkaan liikaa, vaan aidosti sitruksinen. Makeus on aikalailla täydellinen tähän olueeseen, todella helppo juoda. Jälkimaku on lyhyt, ehkä vähän radlerisen sitruunainen.
