Another decent drink. It has a pleasant coffee aroma and taste with a nice maltiness. It obviously has a creamy mouthfeel and an enjoyable bitter finish. Very smooth and easy-drinking session ale, with very subtle coffee notes. Another one I wish I'd had a pint of.

Pleasant coffee flavour Porter, slightly lacks depth for me but enjoyable none the less

Tja was ist jetzt das, bei Dem Namen Flat white Porter dachte ich an ein helles Bier, wie bei einem White Stout. Nun habe ich ein schwarzes Bier mit cremigem Schaum der mittelprächtig stabil ist. Die Nase ist kräftiger kalter Kaffee, Kaffeebohnen stehen auch auf der Zutatenliste. Der Antrunk bietet zuvorderst auch Kaffee, aber nicht so kräftig wie in der Nase. Dafür kommt nun etwas Zartbitterschokolade und eine malzige Note hinzu. Herb mit röstiger Säure, im Verlauf übernimmt der Kaffee doch die Kontrolle und zum Ende hab ich kein Bierfeeling mehr, sondern nur noch kräftigen kalten Kaffee. Am Anfang interessant, zum Ende übers Ziel hinaus...
