One for the road 🛫 Pours hazy, deep amber. Carbonation is obedient although not shy. A silky, off-white head emerges on the surface up to one finger's level. Retention is fairly lengthy. Almost no scent at all. Or not almost, there is no scent. Nothing. Is this too cold or what? Anyway, the gustatory package provides intensive biscuit malt, apricot, both dried and fresh, sugar and a bit of alcohol. There's also a distinct floral twist in the palate. Just learned that this beer contains a flower called "immortelle". I can't find it in the gustatory sphere though. The body is light-medium to medium. The finish carries the same flavor up to the end as earlier. Nor does even the alcoholic tang intensify, unlike what I anticipate. The mouthfeel is medium, not massive, not twiggy either. It's also a bit tangy, remotely alcoholic and Belgiany. Having looked at my ratings with this brewpub, it looks like they brew good Belgian Golden Ales but the other styles are a bit like so-so.
