Side by side review with Big Lake Camper Special. Camper: Citrusy aroma, a bit on the light side. Taste has citrusy hops with notes of oranges, light grapefruit and some pineapple. Light bitterness in the finish. The body is medium+ with a medium-ish amount of carbonation. Camper Special: Citrusy and malty aroma. Taste has citrusy hops with notes of oranges, pineapple and grapefruit. There's a solid malt backbone tying this all together. Less noticeable bitterness in the finish, but it's still there. More flavor overall. The body is medium+, almost medium-full, with medium-ish carbonation. I'm sure you can tell from reading which one is the best. Big Lake Camper Special wins. Both are very good. If I want an easier to drink NEIPA, I'll reach for regular Camper. If I'm looking for more flavor and body, give me Camper Special. Camper: 4/5 Camper Special: High 4.25/5
