Wild Boar are back roaming the heart of the Forest of Bowland, after a long break, at the Wild Boar Park, Chipping and perhaps the forests and Dell's too! Big strong and full of attitude yet surprisingly domesticated, this is a well balanced light ale with tropical undertones. Enjoyable and entertaining on its own or the perfect Match for chicken and pork dishes.

Clear copper to bronze pour with decent head, malty and slightly fruity aroma. Fairly smooth, taste is mostly from darker malts but there is just a dash of tropical fruit from the hops, bitter enough.

A bit of a flat beer for an IPA but it wasn't too bad with having a cold and being off kilter it was easy to drink and the lighter flavour notes were just what was needed.

I don’t usually like IPA’s but this one is pretty good. It has an added advantage that I got it free from the hotel minibar 👍
