Erdinger Weißbier / Hefe-Weizen
5.3% Hefeweizen
The original since 1886. Erdinger Weissbier Classic wheat beer blends gently spicy malt aromas with mildly bitter hops. Its secret lies in our unique Erdinger brewing yeasts. They provide the fruity notes and unmistakably fresh flavour. The finishing touch for every Erdinger Weissbier is a further specialty: the “Bayerische Edelreifung” or double maturity method. With its elegant flavour, this wheat beer is like no other. Every sip leaves you wanting more.

Gentle, balanced, enjoyable beer. Bitterness is hidden and carbonation low. But maybe what it could lack is some character?

Think this looses something in can form, just not as much flavour compared to in bottle.

Medium full and medium dry. Malty with just hints of yeasty banana. Body has more characteristics of a pils than weissbier on my opinion. Rather disappointing.
