Fruity. Refreshing. Unusual. Our award winning Belgian Witbier (meaning white beer or wheat beer in Flemish) is a bit of a special one.
Brewed using over 10lbs of fresh citrus, coriander, and using a Belgian yeast strain which offers up flavours of white pepper and clove. This beer has a hint of wheat and yeast driven spice alongside its mainly fruit driven flavour. A light body, low ABV, high carbonation and slightly dry, tart finish make this beer especially tasty in the hotter months. While the flavour combinations may seem odd to some, this is truly a beer that needs to be tried to be appreciated.
Suggested pairings would be breakfast (think of it as a mimosa replacement), caesar salads, and white fish. Best served in a footed Tulip glass or goblet.
