Stone 27th Anniversary Lemon Shark Double IPA
9.6% Imperial IPA / Double IPA
We found inspiration in the southern hemisphere for this year's anniversary beer. This double IPA is brewed with Peacharine and Riwaka hops and a special ingredient called Phantasm – an extract from sauvignon blanc grape skins – all sourced from New Zealand. Combined with some good old-fashioned Mosaic hops from the US and an amped-up grain bill, we've got ourselves a unique sensory experience full of dankness and tropical, citrusy notes. Coming in at a smooth 9.6% in honor of the year we started: 1996.

Alkon säilyttämä, mutta otin silti riskin. Ikää 8kk. Tölkittetty 8/23. Parasta Ennen 8/24. No onneksi ei nyt pahasti, mutta silti selvästi ikä näkyy. Mäntyistä tunkkaisuutta lopussa, mutta sitä ennen mukavan napakkaa sitruisuutta lemonin kärjellä ja mangon hapokkuudella. Myös alkoholin aromia mausteisuudella. Dänkkiä löytyy. Hieman kuohkeatkot hapot pyöreydellä. Ihan kiva suutuntuma. Mehuisahko. Makian pikkukuivakka. Ei pisteitä, koska ei edustuskunnossa. Tuoreena varmasti oli napakka ja kiva Dipa. Nytkin makua on.

Pehmeän hedelmäinen ja vahva. Mukava suutuntuma. Hieman alko lämmittää lopussa. Oikein maukas kokonaisuus. 😋

Tummahkon keltainen. Tuoksu hieman alkoholinen hedelmäisyys. Suutuntuma hiilihappoinen. Maussa mehevä hedelmäisyys, sitrus kirpakalla katkeruudella. Alkoholi puskee hitusen läpi. Jälkimaussa makeutta.

Humalaa ensipuraisussa. Jykevä ja katkeroimainen runko, mikä säilyy koko matkan ensipuraisusta loppuliukuun. Vähän brenkku puskee lopussa läpi. Ei hassumpi tapaus tämä juoma.

Dipa is my favorite beer type with sweet and bitter characteristics. Nice hazy orange color, foam temained as white lacy islands on top. Scent is to tropical fruits, dried apricots and grapefruits. Taste is bittersweet, not very typical dipa. Maybe grape peel flour used in brewing controls extra sweetness. Flavors mostly to dried tropical fruits, grapefruit and piny resins. Good but not extraordinary dipa.

Onpas mukavan hedelmäinen tuoksu ja myös maku on äärimmäisen hieno,oikein tulee vanha kunnon IPA mieleen ja Stone osaa tämän genren
