Thick, dark pour with a good head. Hints of caramel and malty, very subtle hops. Well balanced, good complexity of flavours. Love the name and artwork too.
Judge’s label: That’s a good beer

I reckon this is the third time I've had this in a Beer52 box. Probably get it again in the advent box too! Good job it's decent.

I’m a big fan of a brown ale, and this is pretty good. Quite a lot of caramel on a roasty malt base. Late bitterness from the hops.

A decent drink with a nice roasted malt aroma. Slight caramel aromas mix in, creating a malty taste with a nice hoppiness running through it, leading to a subtle sweet finish. There is a slight bitter aftertaste, but it is enjoyable. It is a smooth and easy-drinking session ale.
