Mead time. My souvenir from Warsaw last November while safely returning from Kyiv. Translucent, deep copper Mead in my digestive glass. No carbonation, no head. Hefty honey in the air, escorted by astonishingly powerful apple jam. The taste profile is definitely like that of honey wine, apple still not absent, or is it sweet mushy pear? Both probably. Warming alcohol definitely keeps the tastebuds alerted. Ends with the same cocktail but with marginally shrunken sweetness anyway. Feels sappy, deep, mellow, sticky, thick. Pretty straightforward and easy for such a traditional Trójniak Mead.
