En Pologne, un porter à 9 degrés, c'est pas un stout? Alors d'accord. 😀

Hyvä tummuus, tumma suklaa ensimmäisenä pomppaa esille, paahteinen, hento kahvi, ei makea, prossat pysyvät piilossa vaikka pitävät tämän porterin vahvana, ihan mielyttävä porter vaikkei ihmeellisyyksiä esitä....

My last Pinta stout was brilliant so I had high hopes for this. Unfortunately this was off to a bad start as the pour had no foam and very little carbonation. The body is jet black, with absolutely nothing else. No hues of brown or ruby red, on the sides, against the light, nothing! Just pure black. Gorgeous. Aromas of dark chocolate dominate through out but there is also some caramel malt, layered over spent espresso. Some dried fruit, currants and raisins, plays off of sweet nuttiness in the finish.. Mouthfeel is quite weak, as the picture shows, there is not even trace amounts of foam but there is mild carbonation that helps to alleviate. The body is medium at best but there is a sincere warmth that helps. The taste is still quite sublime, the first hit is a nice balance of all the aforementioned notes, nuts, dried fruit, caramel, chocolate and coffee. It all arrives together and no one element dominates or suffers. Every subsequent sip, up to the last consistently delivers on this. I wonder, based off of everybody else's pictures, if there was a pressure issue from me bringing the can in out of the cold or something. Will definitely try it again if I see it. Otherwise, I would safely recommend it to anyone.

Kaapin perukoilta portteri. Onpa hyvää pitkästä aikaa.

Varsin tyypillinen balttiportteri. Ei herätä suuria tunteita mutta toimii kuten odottaakin. Tuoksu on paahtunut, maltainen ja kahvinen. Maku on pyöreän täyteläinen, asiallinen humalointi kuitenkin tarjoaa katkeroa vastapainoksi. Jälkimaku on kuiva ja humaloinnin hallitsema. Lopussa löytyy alkoholin lämpö jota ei ennen tätä ole juurikaan huomannut.

Savuinen, turpeinen, paahteinen ja maltainen. Makeus loistaa poissaolollaan.
