Quite mild but tasteful. You can taste the chocolate and espresso flavour ever so slightly which conflicts well with the actual beers taste. Very dark in colour and looked similar to Guinness when poured. Solid drink for a seasoned ale drinker, but i would not use this as an introductory drink.

Was expecting it to be quite sweet but it wasn't that bad. Strong coffee aroma. Creamy mouthfeel. Coffee taste with a subtle liquorice note. Subtle chocolate finish with a surprisingly mellow bitterness. Smooth and easy drinking session ale

Spoons beer festival. I guess it's got the dark chocolate taste, with a hint of coffee, but I'm not blown away by it

JDW Beer Festival, Spring, 2024. Lovely chocolate aroma and flavour. Hint of coffee with roasted notes. Tasty and enjoyable.
