It's amber and a bit murky. It smells malty and strong. The taste is rich. I can taste the grains of wheat or barley, or what ever they grind up for this stuff. It's firm and rural, agricultural, and reminds me of younger days on my grandad's farm, helping out with the harvest. The dusty taste of golden wheat husks, which coated everything with its dry doughy fog. It tastes like the memory of a hot summer day on the farm. Just the rumble of the tractor and combine harvester, shaving stripes into the brassy rows of straw. It's no frills, honest, and well defined. Not a bad pint.
