Not Butcombe's finest hour but it's drinkable.

Cracking drink. Nice malty aroma with a slight hoppy note. Similar taste profile but with a slightly more pronounced hoppiness mixed in. Slight spicy note leading to a subtle sweet finish. Enjoyable drink. Smooth and easy drinking session ale even at the abv but steady on there people as it's very quaffable

Very drinkable, slight toffee malt flavour & slightly spicy, using Challenger & Golding hops

Malty and fruity with a hint of caramel. Slightly peppery in the finish. Reasonable session beer. JDW Beer Festival, March 2025.
