This beer is black. Impenetrable but not really turbid. A faint ruby reflection vibrates in the beer. The carbonation is definitely not dead as a chocolatey lacing emerges up to one finger. The scent gives roasted malt, raw cacao powder, dark chocolate and ground coffee. Balanced, even a tad restrained. The taste is sweeter and more powerful than what the olfactory entity suggests. The chocolatey segment is unexpectedly intense: bags of dark chocolate, a bit of milk chocolate and also bitter raw cacao powder. Coffee is not particularly shy but becomes mesmerized by the various flavors of chocolate. Surprisingly, I spot vanilla although there shouldn't be vanilla in the beer. Anyway, a welcome confusion. The supportive elements include dry cakey flavors. Alcohol is absent. The body is medium-full to full. The finish is strong, chocolatey and a tad tingly. The aftertaste keeps my tastebuds alerted for a good while. The mouthfeel is medium-full, strong, deep, viscous and lip-glueing. Palatable and balanced.

Tuoksu on voimakkaan paahteinen, kahvinen ja suklainen. Maku tarjoaa paljolti samaa: vahvaa espressoa, paahteisuutta ja tumminta suklaata. Tuoksut ja maut tarjoillaan erittäin intensiivisesti ja voimakkaina. Toki tölkityksestä on vain reilu kuukausi, eli tuoretta on. Pieniä kuplia on sopivasti. Suutuntuma todella liukas ja olut on öljyisen paksua. Totutun vahvaa laatua ja suorittamista jo edellisistä Tumeaineen kahviversioista. Tämä ei tee poikkeusta, on herkullinen. Suvereenia kahvin käyttöä.
