Roasty on the nose, a slightly burnt, malty roastiness on the tongue. Falls somewhere between dark lager and brown ale? It’s ok but missing some depth. Judge’s label: Would have another

Never been too sure about black lager, but this is very enjoyable and a good quaffable drink. Nice roasted malt aroma with slight coffee and chocolate notes mixed in. Similar taste profile but with a subtle hoppiness in the mix. Slightly sweet notes leading to a subtle bitterness to finish. A balanced drink and a good session ale. Attic is fast becoming one of my favourite breweries.

Dark mid to minimal head. Roasted malt flavour rich and deep taste

More of a stout than a lager. Quite robust. Nice.

A tad disappointed by this - I like a black lager and this was a bit feeble. No real punch, just a slight burnt flavour on top of a light beeriness.
