We have used 4 different malts and oatmeal to give a creamy complexity of flavours that isn't usually present in a lower alcohol stout and we are really pleased with the result. To each cask we have added half a bottle of Port which provides a subtle richness, and a slightly red head on the glass. Cream, warm and smooth with rich flavours.

Weird drink. It has a nice fruity aroma, a fruity taste with a subtle maltiness thrown in, and an unexpected sweetness with a strange metallic note to finish. There is a sweeter aftertaste, but somehow it has a tartness mixed in. It's still a sessionable drink, but I need something in between. A strange brew that can't seem to decide what it wants to do. It might be a bit different on my second tasting.
