A smooth, toasty brown ale, Best Brown Ale is a mainstay in our fall & winter lineup. With hints of caramel and cocoa, the malt body has the depth to stand up to cool weather, but does not come across as heavy. This balancing act is aided by the generous use of American hops.

Well what a winner this is. Perhaps Bell's is becoming a top 5 brewery for me. Overall a terrific brown ale great malty taste with a nice stout finish if you like browns this is a winner

Medium thick head that goes down fairly quick. Very dark red color that is hazy. Aroma is slightly nutty. Flavor seems very malty to me and very smooth. The finish is where I get a slight bit of a bitter cocoa taste but it is over very fast. I would definitely recommend it and have another.
