When at its best this is a great bitter. Brewed literally up the road and named after the local town. There is nothing modern and fancy about it. But unlike many traditional bitters it doesn't taste out of time. It's russet brown and has a lovely tangy malt flavour. Beautifully crafted - it is Session-able but has punch. Sadly, the Brewery is at risk, so it may soon be no more. Buy it if you see it.
