Smells quite sweet. Deep enough taste. Very Beer-y. Bit of a sour aftertaste. I expected more after being told it was his favourite (of the 4 we'd been brought from Germany) but there's nothing special to it.

This is an excellent example of a kellerbier, although not the same as the original Würzburger Zwickel which was available at the Würzburger Hofbräu Keller, this is a reintroduced version which is fairly close to the original. It has hops and malt, plus a wonderful wholesome flavour.
