Cloudy, deep amber beer with modest, quick carbonation builds a pure white, creamy, half-a-finger head. The contracting foam paints the glass with small lacy splashes while descending to a thin lace ring. The scent displays strong grapefruit pulp and a tad lemon peel, being hence quite simple and one-dimensional. The tongue receives strong grapefruit zest, a good amount of grapefruit peel and a bit of lemon zest, seasoned by a medium-strong hoppy aroma and faint spruce needles. The body is light. The beer ends with hoppy pale malt, a nice injection of grapefruit and relatively identifiable peel lemon. The aftertaste stays in mouth for long. The mouthfeel is crisp, medium-strong, slightly tangy and a bit warming.
